Hope you can make it to a intricate "blocking" weekend with Sydney Milliner Neil Grigg at 151 Storrs Rd, Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd August.
Brenda has a multitude of blocks and a number are unique designs from blockmakers around the world, some, never been blocked on, so why not try some of them out. Or why not bring a block that you are having difficulty fathoming out.
We will use a variety of textiles - Straws made from Abaca, Sisal and Buntal; new range of 100% merino wool felts; silk abaca; Buckram to name a few. All supplies are included.
Only a limited number of spaces is available so that you truly have a personal experience with Neil.

Book in for one day where you will be able to block a number of different and intricate blocks. Learn lots of new technique. Or why not come for the 2 days and that way you will have blocks completed even a couple of hats finished.

About Neil Grigg:
Neil started making hats for theatre productions in the mid 1970’s while at Uni and gradually increased his knowledge working with both Betty Viazim (theatre) and Jenifer Nairn (fashion) ….. as well as a stint at Opera Australia …. and the good old trial and error approach in these early stages.
With over 40 yrs working in Millinery - Neil has seen many fashion changes and dressed everyone from Crown Princess Mary of Denmark to our own Queen of the track , Gay Waterhouse.
David Jones carried his label for over 20 yrs and many boutiques all across Australia have carried his hats and headpieces over the years.
