This all-inclusive 2-day retreat is designed to refresh your skills and spark your creativity. Your weekend package includes:
2 Full Days of Hands-On Hat-Making: Immerse yourself in the world of millinery. You'll learn about and block with a wide variety of fabrics, including sinamay, pinokpok, buckram, and more.
Access to a Curated Block Collection: Unleash your creativity with our extensive collection of over 100 hat blocks, including vintage pieces and new additions from around the world.
Personalized Guidance from Brenda: Gain valuable tips and techniques you can apply immediately to take your craft to the next level.
All-Inclusive Accommodation & Meals: Stay on-site in your own private room. All delicious meals are included, so you can focus entirely on your craft.
All Foundation Supplies: We provide all the basics you'll need, including supplies for blocking, wire, glues, stiffener, and all sewing essentials.
Your Itinerary
Friday (Day-1): Arrive in the afternoon to settle into your room before a relaxed evening dinner.
Saturday(Day-2): After a delicious breakfast, we'll dive into the world of textiles and blocking. We'll work in the studio until sunset, after which you can enjoy a glass of wine with your homework while dinner is prepared.
Sunday(Day-3): We start fresh with breakfast before a final day in the studio. The retreat concludes around 3-4 pm, leaving you refreshed and inspired for your journey home.
Retreat Details
COST: $490 plus GST. This includes accommodation, all meals, and all foundation supplies. Additional millinery supplies and embellishments are available for purchase.
